Miracle Ware Rice Cooker Directions
helpful cooking tips
These would make a great appetizer but I made them for dinner a few weeks ago.  Chicken wings are very economical and they fit into my grocery budget quite nicely.  This is a recipe I found in my Mom's recipe card file.  I think almost everyone likes traditional Buffalo Wings but this puts a new flavor twist on these tasty little bites.  The Italian salad dressing and dry basil adds and interesting burst of flavor.   I found these wings to be not too hot and you could probably adjust the heat by adding red pepper or cayne pepper to the mixture.  My whole family enjoyed these for dinner and I think they would make a great addition to anyones holiday fare.
1/2   Bag chicken wings
1/2   Cup butter or margarine
1/2 to 3/4 Cup Louisiana Hot Sauce
2      Pkgs 6 oz Italian salad dressing mix
2      Tablespoons Lemon Juice
1/2    teaspoon dry Basil

Place chicken wings on cookie sheet with sides.  Bake in the oven at 450 degrees until browned.  Melt butter or margarine and mix remaining ingredients in small bowl.  Coat the cooked wings with sauce and continue to bake to 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

Serve with Bleu Cheese salad dressing or your favorite dipping sauce.
